When a glamorous but conceited teenager becomes mysteriously overweight, she must overcome being an outcast until she makes new alliances with those she saw as inferior--in the style of "Napoleon Dynamite."
SYNOPSIS
SABRE HIGGENS is a beautiful and confident teenager who has a flare and talent for fashion. Her ultimate goal is to be a fashion designer, winning a scholarship to an elite college of fashion and design through the community’s big Spring Splendor Fashion Show. Her close friend, CASSANDRA OWENS, is her steady accomplice in thought. However, they make fun and degrade other students like MISSY DRAKE, who is a gifted teenager but is also obese.
Through a series of unfortuante events, Sabre fnds herself twenty-seven pounds overweight. Her day goes from bad to worse, having to contend with her changed appearance with her friends and boyfriend, BRETT COMBS. With everything going wrong, it gets worse as Sabre keeps gaining weight seemingly by the minute, busting out of every outfit she has been buying. Missy Drake comes to her rescue, befriends her and they form a new friendship along with her buddies, EUGENE STIFF and a guy name HOOCH.
Being the fashion diva person she is, Sabre is appalled at the clothing that irregular teens have to endure. She takes on the system and designs a fashion line called Pro-Portionate Fashions. Her friends then help her by becoming models for the big fashion event that is approaching.
