SYNOPSIS
EVIE GRANT, a teenager, runs through a neighborhood, trying to get help. There are several people who refuse to help Evie, knowing the girl’s reputation for eccentric behavior.
Evie finally comes to SARAH LOCKWOOD’s house. As she pounds on the door, PEGGY LOCKWOOD (Sarah’s mother), starts to let her in, but Evie is suddenly pulled back by an invisible force that is only visible under the flash of lightning in a storm.
Evie is murdered, witnessed by Peggy and Sarah Lockwood.
As the police investigate the gruesome murder in the small town, other people fall victim to the same mysterious fate. Sarah Lockwood encounters another neighbor, DOROTHY COLLINS, who is also experiencing strange phenomena.
Sarah, Dorothy and COREY WILLIAMS, another teenager, help to uncover details about what is happening to them. Evie’s past eventually reveals why the mysterious force entered their lives.
Sarah and Dorothy realize that they are part of a continuing curse that was set in motion through refusing to help someone in need.
How can they stop the curse and survive?
